Adding to their distinctive array of retailers, Downtown West Palm Beach recently welcomed two new businesses: The Style Bar, a bohemian-chic clothing retailer and Fleur de Paris, a full-service skin care institute.
Located at 119 Datura Street, The Style Bar, features an array of vintage-inspired clothing for men and women, as well as a wide assortment of accessories including jewelry, bags, sunglasses, belts and scarves. The 1,000-sq.-ft. boutique is owned by Gerry Novoa, who previously owned Rhythm Clothiers on Clematis St. from 1996 to 2001.
“I was drawn back to the Clematis District because the economic momentum has a lot of traction, and the patrons are hip and fashionable. It’s the perfect spot for our type of store,” said Novoa, who has extensive experience in designer fashions, and previously owned businesses in New York City and Miami.
In addition to it’s retail offerings, The Style Bar also features live music on Friday and Saturday nights by pianist Lauren Echo and other musical guests, and also showcases one-of-a-kind artwork by local artists. The store is open Monday to Wednesday, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Thursday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Sunday, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, call (561) 655-5690 or visit http://www.facebook.com/thestylebar.
Fans of the Clematis District now have a new haven for rejuvenation at Fleur de Paris, which specializes in personalized skin care treatments for men, women and teens. Located at 320 S. Dixie Hwy., services include facial treatments, skin peels, microderm abrasion, waxing, hot stone therapy, body scrubs, and other luxury spa services in a peaceful, tranquil environment. Its featured service is the signature 60-minute Decléor Paris aromatherapy facial, which uses a unique and natural method by infusing essential aromatic oils and phyto-cosmetics (natural plant extracts), followed by a relaxing massage and skin analysis for $95. In addition to Decléor’s line of fine skin care products, patrons can purchase a wide assortment of other popular skin care product lines including Environ and Tend Skin.
The owner is a certified esthetician and face-lift massage specialist, who also received a PhD in skin biology and cosmetology from her native France, and is a member of the Dermatology Skin Care Specialists and the Society of Cosmetic Chemists.
