Palm Beach, FL – August 21, 2008 - Flavor Palm Beach, the first annual Palm Beach County restaurant month is coming this September.  For the entire month, the area’s finest restaurants, from Boca to Jupiter, will offer a special three course Flavor menu for the fixed price of $20 for lunch and $30 for dinner.   Flavor Palm Beach is poised and ready to excite, tantalize and satisfy your every craving.  

 

Flavor Palm Beach was established to allow residents and visitors alike to try many wonderful restaurants at lower prices.  Whether you are a year-round or seasonal resident, or a traveler looking for unique opportunities in a world-class destination, Flavor Palm Beach will satisfy every appetite.  Discover what Palm Beach County has to offer. With some of the finest chefs in the nation delivering top-notch cuisine, restaurants in the area are sure to satisfy the most varied of palettes.

 

Restaurants participating in Flavor Palm Beach include: Café Chardonnay, Café Joley, Capri Blu, City Cellar, City Oyster, Forté di Asprinio, iBar, Ironwood Grille, III Forks, Metronome Grand Brasserie, Oakwood Grill, Phat Sandwiches, Pistache, Rocco’s Tacos, Roxy’s, Seasons 52 (Palm Beach Gardens location), Spoto’s Oyster Bar (Palm Beach Gardens and West Palm Beach locations), Strip House, Sushi Jo (Boynton Beach, Palm Beach Gardens and West Palm Beach locations), and nine TooJay’s locations, that will offer 2 for $20 lunch and 2 for $30 dinner specials.  A complete list of participating restaurants and menus is available at www.FlavorPalmBeach.com.

 

A kick-off event will be held on September 5th from 5:30-9:00 p.m. at Centennial Square on Clematis Street, sponsored by the Downtown Development Authority, with a percentage of the proceeds benefitting the Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum.   This event will feature some of the participating Flavor restaurants, live entertainment, dancing, a lounge area provided by Design Within Reach and much more.  Tickets can be purchased for $15 in advance at www.flavorpalmbeach.com or for $20 at the event.  More information to be announced.

 

Hotel Biba will also host an event in celebration of Flavor Palm Beach, on Wednesday, September 17, from 7:00-9:00 p.m.  Guests will enjoy their first cocktail on the house, drink specials for the remainder of the evening and free valet parking.  Also, Flavor gift certificates and other prizes will be given out throughout the event.

 

Each restaurant participating in Flavor Palm Beach will present a selection of specially priced three-course meals for lunch and dinner. Diners will be able to choose from three choices for each course. Prices are per person and exclude beverages, tax and gratuity.

 

Reservations can be made at www.FlavorPalmBeach.com through OpenTable.com or by contacting the restaurant directly.  Due to the popularity of this event, advance reservations are strongly encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome.

Briana Bournique, founder of Flavor Palm Beach, is a fifth generation Floridian.  She studied Hospitality Management at the University of Florida and has worked for the Brazilian Court Hotel in Palm Beach and the Shore Club and Delano Hotels in Miami Beach.  During her time in Miami, she enjoyed the fare and fun of Miami Spice and wanted to bring a similar event to Palm Beach County.  The stage is now set for Flavor Palm Beach to tantalize palettes and become a mainstay on everyone’s calendar.
