An energetic crowd of more than 125 Downtown West Palm Beach residents gathered at Rocco’s Tacos and Tequila Bar recently for Neighbor Nights, a quarterly social event hosted by the West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA). The events are designed to build friendships, partnerships and a stronger sense of community among Downtown residents while patronizing local restaurant and entertainment venues.

“The Rocco’s Tacos Neighbor Nights event was a resounding success,” said Tim Harris, president of the Downtown Neighborhood Association. “Rocco’s was a generous host and provided delicious food and a lively atmosphere for Downtown residents to mingle. The continued success of Neighbor Nights is a true indication that Downtown West Palm Beach is quickly becoming one of the most popular communities in South Florida.”

Guests included Bruce Lewis, the new chairman of the DDA board of directors; Amelia Ostrosky, DDA board member; Commissioner Molly Douglas; Tim Harris, Downtown Neighborhood Association President; and more than 125 residents from many of the Downtown condominiums including The Metropolitan, The Prado, One Watermark Place, One City Plaza, Esplanade Grande and Waterview Towers.
