WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (December 5, 2007) ¾ Rocco’s Tacos and Tequila Bar, Downtown’s new hotspot for fresh, delicious, authentic Mexican food, is set to open at 224 Clematis Street in Downtown West Palm Beach. A grand opening party is scheduled for Saturday, December 8, and the restaurant will open to the public starting at 8:00 p.m. with drink specials and hors d’oeuvres. The eatery will officially open its doors on Monday, December 10, starting with dinner.

Rocco’s Tacos features one of the most expansive tequila bars in South Florida, with more than 150 options available. The new concept is a collaboration between Big Time Restaurant Group, the owners of seven popular restaurants throughout South Florida, and Jason Mangel, a.k.a. Rocco, a recognized presence in Mexican cuisine. The 4,500 sq. ft. restaurant will feature an upbeat, lively interior complete with authentic Mexican furniture hand-picked by the owners. The eatery will be open for lunch, dinner and late-night. Menu items include fresh salsa and guacamole prepared tableside, as well as quesadillas, tacos, enchiladas and tamales, just to name a few. Fresh tortillas will be made in-house and the restaurant’s ample selection of margaritas will be concocted from homemade sour mix. The owners said the average lunch tab will be between $8-11, and the average dinner tab $13-20.
