Cultural Amenities
The cultural institutions of Downtown West Palm Beach have helped to identify the community. More than $300 million dollars have been invested, pledged and planned for the many cultural organizations of Palm Beach county, including the Kravis Center, the Florida Science Museum and many more. These investments have also helped renovate the 1916 county courthouse to become Palm Beach County’s first major history museum, which opened in March, 2008.

History Museum / Courthouse Restoration
The first courthouse in West Palm Beach built in 1916, is now being restored and will feature the Palm Beach County History Museum, expected to open in March of 2008 in Downtown West Palm Beach by the Palm Beach County Historical Society.
